Brooklyn, New York Last day of summer 09 tour !

New York, New York

Photos from Julia:

REUNION !!

car photos- pittsburgh to brooklyn

Long drive boredom.

long drive

Pittsburgh Sucks

trtl soup in pittsburgh.

no one was at this show. But they played really well and we danced a lot.
Then we decided to jam with them instead of playing our set. They were probably really tired, but it was made the night more fun.

Bloomington, Indiana

So many windmills. All through Ohio and Indiana.

Ashli liked that this cup was bigger than my head.

Then we hung out in Bloomington, Indiana with my old friend Matt and the following day played a Food-not-Bombs benefit show (space vegetable costume theme)

We didn't know about the costume theme until arriving, so Ashli came up with some antennas and ''space folliage'' so as not to stand out so much in her

Matt gave us a pedal demonstration.

I want a POG pedal.

Matt is so great.

We made tacos at Matt's and then headed home for some sleep before leaving early the next day for 10hr drive to the most disappointing city on tour. Yup, you guessed it. Pittsburgh . uhgh

Illinois (somewhere) really weird

All ages hookah-bar in the middle of now-where, Illinois. At first it was funny and seemed alright... but as the night went on we realized that it was pretty creepy and the owner was very sketchy.

last leg of tour... Milwaukee

Milwaukee !

Hooping on the beach (ya !)

Brian and Tim hangin in the sun.

Group of the Altos, amazing eight piece band that we played with at the Cactus Club.

What is she laughing at? Oh, could it be the hope kitty cat button?

Best postcard ever!

CHICAGO - good good times, not a lot of photos

Arriving pretty late to Chicago after spending loads of time on the Heidelberg Project.

Watermelon on the way to Milwaukee.

DETROIT - the HEIDELBERG PROJECT !!!

The beginning of the Heidelberg Project. This one guy owns the whole block of houses and covers it in recycled/garbage art.

www.heidelberg.org

Many stuffed animals nailed to a house.

Vacuum cleaner tentacles?

Forest of vacuum creatures. A little creepy, there were zombie baby heads on some of them.

Notice running themes of polka dots, jesus, and new york.

More teddy bears.

Shoes!

Jon is so little next to a tower of teddies so tall.

Jon's favorite was the boat o' teddies.

Strange mushroom shaped bits of insulation (i think).

More wonderful robot creatures.

Doors!

I think that this one was my favorite. She was towering over the orange house amongst all the other robot-creatures.

We got to add to the Heidelberg project!

So did these guys.

This girl was trying to get me to go to this restaurant called Ed Debovic's in Chicago. So she painted it very stickily on my arm.

Timmy really liked getting paint all over his hands and feet. Who wouldn't?
